The Window

I dreamed about a window that gave me the gift of sight
each window pane a glimpse into a meaningful past life.
In one of the panes I found you gazing back at me
the glass, the only barrier between me and thee.
We stared at one another as if surprised to see
when our eyes met in unison, our souls floated free.
In fate’s magical ether, two beams of brilliant light
at last crossed one another, and exploded from sight.
In the dream our love filled me with an inner peace
carried over in this life for hearts are now unleashed.

When I started reading this, I got a little Twilight Zone feel. Very nice.

I was waiting for Rod Serling to come out of the window pic.
