Broken Hearted Frida
memory-the heart, 1937, found on
“There have been two great accidents in my life. One was the trolley, and the other was Diego. Diego was by far the worst”. –Frida Kahlo
Heart laid bare ripped from her breast by a treacherous two
the people she loved broke her heart leaving her bitter and blue
As her blood soaked the ground, the tears fell from her eyes
thinking back to what she had found, how she uncovered their lies.
The betrayal was so deep she cut off her hair
this sordid affair.

Yes, how do we survive pain? Where do we take it or do we let it take us? Betrayal is a sharp knife. Thanks so much for taking part in the prompt!

Two traumatic blows to her life and she manages to bear both and become the great artist she was. Beautifully written.

I think they both had sordid affairs… but there are more ways to cause pain in a relationship than infidelity… and that he did.

Yes, they did. She had affairs with both men and women.
