Golden caramel eyes stalking her
across the sea of strangers
a shiver runs up her spine
as she senses impending danger.
He’s a lost soul in disguise
a concrete heart of stone.
She looks up, and falls deeper down
drowning in those limpid pools
lost from herself never again found
for this was a game with no rules.
As he took his first vicious bite
into her pearly white nape
her soul freed, took to the skies
as he wrapped her within his cape.
