It seems like only yesterday since you took your last breath.
Life circles and cycles through, we carry on,
as if nothing important happened
I catch a quick glimpse of you
sometimes, when your roses bloom.

Poignant. Sad reality of life.

It’s surreal- how life just cycles on. A sweet and poignant write.

I like your acknowledgement of our haste in life. It’s hard to stop sometimes. I’m glad you found the roses

I have a rose bush that outlasted the person who planted it. I think of it as Reed’s roses. So sad how short life can be.
