Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
Author’s Note: Although this was written for the prompt, my heart is saddened by what I see happening in our country. I want to believe in the words I’ve written, but I feel we have strayed from the very foundations this country was based on. I can’t bear to watch the news these days.
Love those words, Freedom, a big word in the world, if only. Hope your weekend was peaceful my friend, thanks for your input, appreciated.

Sadly, I agree. That promise was made to all, yet currently it has been broken…

Excellent poem. Excellent Author’s Note, too.

I admire the words in your tanka and, sadly, agree with the assessment in your post script.
