In the dreaming hours
juxtaposed between
keeping watch on the ticking clock and

life as it slows… flows into an ethereal state
moving towards accepting fate…death
never looking back

    Time keeps moving….even as we sleep and as our journey lengthens, it simultaneously shortens its time on earth.

  5. Time moves us along, doesn’t it. I like the break between stanzas, causing me to take a deep breath for the rest of the journey. Very nice!

  6. I love how your break and the pacing of the lines hide the sestet. And the juxtaposition of keeping time and life slowing and flowing is just beautiful.
