Desire is a Slow Ember

Desire is a slow ember glowing, burning

Igniting flames to illuminate black night

Their need dangerous wanting, yearning

For that which is gone from tender sight

Igniting flames to illuminate black night

Two souls craving the fiery touch of another

For that which is gone from tender sight

Stoking hot cinders that will not smother

Two souls craving the fiery touch of another

Shedding clothes, inhibitions with wild abandon

Stoking hot cinders that will not smother

Love’s fire blooms, raging with unleashed passion

Shedding clothes, inhibitions with wild abandon

Their need dangerous, wanting, yearning

Love’s fire blooms, raging with unleashed passion

Desire is a slow ember glowing, burning
