Desire is a slow ember glowing, burning
Igniting flames to illuminate black night
Their need dangerous wanting, yearning
For that which is gone from tender sight

Two souls craving the fiery touch of another

Stoking hot cinders that will not smother

Shedding clothes, inhibitions with wild abandon

This is well written Linda. For a traditional structure, it flows well. I LOVE the title! “Desire is a slow ember”, much is said with those 5 words…
