Safe

My lips are the dew drenched rose yearning for the buzzing bee
to gather my words like pollen and make of them sweet honey

My eyes are the storm clouds burdened with the cleansing rain
longing to fall at last to feel the heat of your bright sun again

My fingers are tendrils of Morning Glory seeking a spot to cling
caressing those tender places entreating your desires to sing

My arms are the weeping willows surrounding you from above
a respite from the world, safe in the shelter of my forever love
