Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
“Art is what you can get away with.”
― Andy Warhol
Happy, happy, happy
smiling little duckies
perched in rows and rows,
they’ll never reveal
what they see, see, see
which is why they are
the perfect friends
for you and me, me, me
as we in secret, steal a kiss
while floating
in a pineapple sea, sea, sea
of marshmallowy bliss,
dressed in our finest jeweled silks
with a grumpy blue teddy bear
between, between, between
innocence and intimacy

I enjoy the lightness and joy in this. You did so much with a plethora of duckies, the color yellow, and your fertile imagination.

I love the repetition here – gives it the feel of a song – a chirpy one, of course 😉

All the ducks in rows lined up but that interloping bear that raises the question or draws a line. 🙂
