Thank you for introducing me to the Curve Billed Thrasher, Linda. The image is stunning and I’m amazed at how it can sit on a prickly pear with no consequences! This is the beauty of tan renga – you never know what other poets will find in the prompt haiku!

My pleasure Kim. They are one of my favorite birds here. They even build large nests of twigs among the cactus. I am amazed that they can maneuver within them!
