Gypsy Rose

Though men have tried to tame her
And others have tried to keep
Her heart locked up in a box
She’ll never abstain
for she will dance nude
in summer rains~
So if you love her,
Remember her name
She, a Wildling Gypsy Rose

  1. I smiled reading this. And when I first read the title….I thought of the dancer Gypsy Rose Lee….and then reading here…..also of wild roses that grow every which way, reaching for the sun, beautiful in their wildness…and dancing nude in summer rains. Just really really enjoyed this quadrille!

  2. Oh she was a wild and free spirit indeed.Lovely. It’s interesting that I am minded of the woman and the flower itself, both gently swaying to the tune of nature in a summer rain.
