Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
I stare in silence, not uttering a word
While rain drops fall with my every breath
I become the melody of the sandpiper bird
But for me there is no sweeter song sung
And a peaceful sigh escapes from my lips
As I savor the lilting music upon my tongue
I taste briny salt, blue sky, the choppy bay
I hear shore waves with their hypnotic sound
And feel soft rain falling as it guides my way

I like the soft rain guiding one’s way to the hypnotic sound of the bay.
