Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
Morning air golden with pollen dust floating
The Mesquite blooming, showering
A rain of tiny yellow blossoms caught in my hair
As I wander through the peaceful garden
Seeking solace in these darkest times
A healing medicine to ease pain
A panacea for these tortured souls
A balm to seal this crack in the world
As emptiness reigns with helplessness
For humanity has said farewell
To kindness, hope and peace
Come be still, let us kneel and pray
Only together can we return to love

I really like how you present Nature silently going about its natural order of being. I found a quiet peace in your words. Thank you,

My heart too, Linda. I couldnt even talk this weekend. We need the healing balm of nature more than ever. I went to the beach this morning to lift my spirits. Your poem is beautiful.
