Thank you for the haiku and the song. Used to sing this with my daughters in harmony. You brought back a lot of wonderful memories filled with love and laughter. But, I also love your words of how we might all find the gratitude we need in these seemingly dark days, by simply finding those small things that fill and feed our senses.

Lovely, Linda.
The eighth grade girls at my daughters’ school used to do this song at the end of the year concert.

Gorgeous write, Linda! ❤️ I love the quote you have chosen to accompany your haiku 🙂 there is a lot of truth in it. You, my dear friend are no less than a rose and I sincerely pray that there are no thorns in your path. xoxo
