Within Our Grasp

“There is a crack in everything.

That’s how the light gets in.”

― Leonard Cohen, Selected Poems, 1956-1968

And though elusive light may swing
at times beyond our narrow sight
blurry and foggy in waning shine
we only need to remember
the glimmer is within our grasp
if we but turn from the murky darkness
to embrace the luminous glow
that lives within our brilliant minds

  1. It’s been a little difficult to “turn from the murky darkness” of late. Let us all embrace the luminous glow!

  2. Hi, Linda. Many thanks for sharing such a wonderful post; your poem beautifully penned; and, introducing me to the music and image of Pendulum Waves. Have a wonderful day.
