Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
From where I sit the world’s crazy
no where to turn, future hazy
So I’ll rest high in my tree
because here at least I’m free
I’ll watch golden grasslands sway
delight in gazelles at play
From where I sit the world’s crazy
No where to turn, future hazy

Great rhythm and visuals to counter the uncertainty. The idea of a lion nesting near the birds made me smile.

For sure that’s true — the world is crazy, and the future is hazy. Let us hope our lives return to some semblance of normality.

It’s so difficult, isn’t it? I’m usually an upbeat person, but with the world gone insane combined with my health issues, it’s been hard to remain so.

It is especially fraught for lions and the other wild creatures. Up his tree, at least he can keep watch for danger, which usually comes on two legs, or four tires.

Smart lion. Freedom is a fantastic state to be in. I would never leave that tree.
