Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
Spring dream
fervent new buds
blossoming after rain
riotous colors bursting forth
raindrop
drenched emerald green leaves capture
swirling pools of water
for garden snails
to sip

Author’s Note: Written for Colleen’s Weekly Poetry Challenge: Synonyms only and the words are Eager and Hope. I used ‘fervent’ for eager and ‘dream’ for hope. The form is a butterfly Cinquain.
