#Haiku: Summer sounds

“And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.”

  1. I just read that quote for my post next week for #WQWWC (Writer’s Quotes Wednesday Writing Challenge, started by Colleen. I’d love it if you’d paste a link to this post with your poem in my comment section next week, Linda. How are you surviving the weather down there? We are in Prescott. It’s nearly 90 here.

  2. I loved your summer haiku, Linda. Excellent imagery. I did see on FB that you need a hysterectomy. I’m sorry to hear that. I had mine years ago. It was a true blessing. It seems every time I go to the doctor there is something else. This time, they said I have osteoporosis in my lower back! So, I’m right there with you, my friend. Hang tough. Hugs. ❤
