Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
“When he shall die,
Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun.”
― William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet
With one final breath
A precious life is gone
Scattered with billowing winds
A dandelion’s fate
Left to chance
Where it will fall and land
A spirit seed planted
Into a bright new soul
To grow, to thrive, made whole again
As a new world opens up, begins.

My hopes
Where will the flying seed alight
We know not the whims of the wind
Wish for a pretty garden path
By a green bench where angels rest
Or children playing in the sun

and: ultimately… that’s what the dandelion is designed for – it wants to be blown away…

Such is life, dispersal assisted no less but still the seed will thrive in a new environment! One cannot but wonder how nature takes its course and further the progeny as far as the eye could see! Wonderful write Linda!

And who knows where the wind takes that dandelion spore but the seed itself once it lands. A beautiful tribute, Linda.

This makes me feel my dandelion child free in the stars to seed light into my spirit to help me out of my darkness.
