As I wander the cloistered woods, the plunk, plunk, plunk of acorns landing in rotting leaves breaks the unearthly silence. The circle of life surrounds me, from leathery seed struggling to sprout to towering live oaks. I am humbled in their presence. I pause in wonder, appreciating the music of creation.
