Two

Two souls were adrift aimlessly
In the turbulent sea of life
Searching for one another
Amidst the storms of strife.

They drifted on and on
Seeking but never finding
Wondering in their hearts
If the search was never-ending.

 

But all at once the clouds were gone
And sunshine was in their world
For they met, became as one
And their sails at last unfurled.

 

Now they float along together
In the beautiful sea of life
Knowing they have each other

To face the winds of strife.
