If I Fell

If I fell
into the abyss
would you grow wings
and catch me
before my fatal demise?

If I fell
into your arms
would you encircle
them around me
and keep me from harm?

 

If I fell
into your heart
would you tuck me away
into a dark corner
and then forget me?
