Tanka: A Beautiful Mess

Come frolic my love
cool Spring breezes whispering
hot passion stolen
under bright stars canopy
sway my darling, to our song.

 
We rule the starlight
bending it with our magic
we, lovers melding
fusing two hearts with this play
cavorting the night away.

 
A beautiful mess
limbs entwined on dewy grass
hearts leaping, unbound
passion’s ballet as evening’s
heavenly bodies inflame.
