Old Soul

can find no sustained relief
you are what my old soul needs
to shake me from my grief.
When tainted tears fall free
in this river of saddest lament
you are what my old soul needs
to ease its bitter torment.
When my aching sorrow passes
and the sun once again shines
you are what my old soul needs
to feel this life is still divine.
Not sure which I liked more, the perfect opening or the great finale.
