In my broken dreams you come, whispering my name
with your face shrouded in mystery, I know not whence you came.
A spectral apparition who arrives only on jet black nights
taking my soul above and beyond as I give in without a fight.
Traveling through the heavens, you show me magnificent wonders
sites that defy my imagination and throw reality asunder.
Once you have presented these mysterious worlds to see
you take me back to earth, and have your way with me.
You lay your hands upon me and take me to heights of ecstasy
caressing my silken body and feeding my hidden fantasies.
In the morning when I awaken, the faded aroma of your essence
only sandalwood and frankincense left in the wake of your presence.
So beautiful Linda. Great work.

Loved it. And the ending is perfect. I struggle with endings all the time. Great piece.
