Good Morning To All My Wonderful Followers And Readers,

I am excited to announce that one of my short stories, is in the following anthology!

I am honored and as you may guess, emotional. Every author dreams of their words to be shared with others. Although this is not my first time (Last year I had a poem published in an e-book), the story included in this e-book is very special to me.

Although I have been writing since I was a young girl, I shared my thoughts and words with a special few. On February 27, 2017 I mustered up the courage to start this blog, and it changed my life.
In June of 2017, I won the writing challenge hosted by our very own Christine Ray, “The Moon Ate The Dark” with my story Polaroid. Christine will never know how much this meant to me as a new emerging writer. I broke down in tears and my husband thought someone had died!

 

I want to thank everyone for reading my words, and supporting me as I continue to grow as a writer. Through daily comments and encouragement, I have become a better person and wordsmith. Every day I learn something new from this great community with our interactions and of course reading your words, and for that I am forever grateful.

  3. Congrats!! It is definitely exciting and happy for you. I am sharing the excitement as a book that I wrote with my friend is soon to be released. (in today”s blog post)
    I was the same way, wrote since I been a child but starting up a blog brought adventures that I had no idea were coming but so glad they did!
    Cheers to you for taking the step! Wish you the best! My days have been brightened with your writings. 🙂
