Living My Dream
Joy these days comes from watching the woodpeckers flit about
as they try their best to drink from the hummingbird spout
And the flock of playful lovebirds, with brilliant feathers green
gathering ’round the bird bath, cheering, and chittering
while I live my dream

I really enjoy watching them everyday. This morning I watched a papa lovebird feed a young baby.

Love that we were on the same wing beat with our quadrilles 😉 They look like they are posing for the picture instead of chattering and feeding their beaks! Nice post!

This is wonderful Linda, and congratulations on living your dream! Not everyone has that good fortune. I loved feeding birds for years when we lived in the Cascade Mountain foothills. We moved and my health is failing, so bird feeding has been curtailed for the moment. Love the photos!!
