Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
Come linger with me in the inglenook
while we cuddle by the crackling fire
reading love sonnets from a tattered book
as flames and words stoke our burning desire
With fiery eyes reflecting ardor for one another
We kiss– setting our thumping hearts aflutter

The inglenook is the perfect romantic setting, and you wrote the perfect romantic poem here. ‘Reading love sonnets from a tattered book’ sounds just fine to me for a cosy cold winter’s night huddled next to someone special.

I love what you can do if you have a proper inglenook… I only miss the bearskin on the floor.
