Light a Fire For Us

“When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.” – Khalil Gibran

You’ve gone ahead to show us the way
when our time on earth’s done
So light a fire at the end of each day
for we will be coming along
And when we arrive we’ll laugh, we’ll play
for our hearts have come home

  1. I love the Gibran quote. That doesnt make it hurt any less though. I like the idea of them waiting for us when we die. Before Pup died, when I knew his time was close I told him I wanted him to meet me when I die, and I am pretty sure he understood. I felt the energy shift.

  2. The Prophet was my all-time favorite book all through college. I love the quotation you’ve used here and how your post complements it. An excellent write in my view!

A wonderful feeling to look forward to Linda, with all the pandemic inconveniences.
