Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
The crown she wore was nothing more
than an illustration of inner self-
An ancient garden of floating butterflies
dancing in sundrenched air
Where golden legged honeybees
get drunk on riotous wildflowers
woven together in an intricate maze
of stems and petals and leaves

It’s eternal summer with the inner self (though the outer wastes away) if we be blessed with such an enchanting crown. Love this, Linda.
