Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
Demise
-Linda Lee Lyberg
I ache from a visceral, soul quaking
Churning, trembling, gut wrenching
End.
He was no longer mine nor I his
Life, with all its deadly twists and turns
Has stolen him from me
Someone, something, must be cast out, blamed
For this bleak shadowy darkness, and black void
The demise of feeling.
