Farewell to Spring blossoms in my Garden- Mesa, AZ
Farewell to Spring blossoms from randomly sown seeds
With showy clusters of pink flowers atop leafy spiked stems
Bright splashes of cool fuchsia among yellows and greens
Beguiling honeybees heavy with pollen on their hairy knees
And golden skippers flitting on the fragrant breeze

Yes, they are. High 90’s , which is a bit warm for early May. However, that is the common name for these pink flowers- “Farewell to Spring.” 😊

A charming rhyme scheme undaunted by the picturesque scene you’ve designed for us. Well-balanced, ma’am, and well-inspired. I aspire to half so clean and warm a poem.
