Waning moon in blue morning sky it seems like a short while yesterday when you were lush and full one night but with each day you are fading away.

A mockingbird crooned his melody as I sat under a blooming Lilac tree I closed my eyes and soon drifted away lulled by soft buzzing of the honeybees.
Heart of mine sheds shards of tears from the pain of wanting you leaving cracks in the veined marble where our tender love once grew but now a mass of etched ecstasy stained stone.
Life’s retrospection collected like smooth pebbles from a riverbed I lay on the grassy shore listening to soft lapping
