Leafing through an old book Earmarked pages A photograph Veiled, did not foretell Eyes as blue as a robin’s egg Smile that would light my days
Weathered -Linda lee Lyberg I’ve done my best to forever remember Each line on your weathered face Your delicate hands soft and tender The beauty of your southern grace
Promise -Linda Lee Lyberg My darling dear and sweetest one Death is only a silent whisper away And when the longest day is gone I know you’ll want me to stay.

Muddy ocean floor Remnants of minute bodies Sea creature graveyard. Decomposing life Building fertile oozing sludge Renewal of life. A purposeful death Mindful regeneration Yielding nutrients.
